a glowing.
You are the friend of friends,
the lover of lovers,
the need that some dream of.
You are the seed planted,
the harvest grown,
the promise of tomorrow.
You are awakenings.
You are promises kept.
You are the water
that keeps us alive.
You are Love.

Warm, like a Spring breeze.
Your face says, "life is simple
When you live it with ease."
You are true and special,
With a smooth and mellow way;
A wonderful one to know,
To be a part of my day.
I can never run out of words
That tell you how I feel;
Your heart is mostly golden,
Your Love is stronger, still.
You will forever be my memory,
My dear and special friend.
I write these very words

You awaken me in the moonlight,
Covering me in thoughts of You,
Past the hour when most folks lose consciousness.
You ease into my dreams,
Liquid and divine, like something sacred.
You awaken me in the moonlight,
Giving me the joy of your voice,
Your caressing words, tender and melodic,
Like You.
You are both Jazz and Soul music.
The way you linger, rolling, striking, sensuousness,
Like smoke, rising through me,
Inside and out of me.
You fascinate me like Cuban landscapes,
Like classic sculpture, like Sengalese dancing;
Like the Brazilian music I adore,
Like the sound of a stream,
moving freely on a fine clear day,
Like the mystery of birds flying.
There.
It has been said.
You, who awaken me in the moonlight,
Covering me in thoughts of You,
You make me sing, always to You...

Call me in the midnight velvet
Beyond the sleeping rivers
As nature rests under the stars.
Call me as the minutes dance
Beyond the moonlight,
As dreams begin to seep into
The minds of the universe;
Yes, call me
In your special way,
Softly and melodic, in penetrating tones
That speak only to me.
I love the rhythm of your voice,
The calm of you.
Call me
Beyond Midnight
And dance into my Dreams.
